JM Bogan Co. is a family-owned custom builder based in the Pacific Northwest, specialising in medium to large residential remodelling projects. The Challenge

As JM Bogan expanded to manage more complex projects, manual data entry between project management and accounting systems became a growing problem. The team was using multiple software solutions that did not integrate with QuickBooks Online, resulting in duplicated effort and potential for errors.

“We had to manually type everything in and upload every document just to make it visible to the team and clients,” says Susan Franz, Director of Franz Bookkeeping. “This manual process slowed down reporting and made it harder to maintain accuracy.

The Solution

To solve this, JM Bogan selected Procore for project management and implemented Interfy’s OneCore to integrate it seamlessly with QuickBooks Online.

“The first connector we tried didn’t work and created errors,” explains Susan. “We chose OneCore because it was being developed specifically for our market.”

OneCore’s development team also collaborated with Franz Bookkeeping to refine time tracking functionality. “We wanted time punches in Procore to feed through to QuickBooks Online. They worked hard to make that possible, which we really appreciate,” says Susan.
