Formplus is a Brisbane-based construction management company delivering large-scale, high-rise residential projects averaging $100M–$250M in value. Founded in 2024 by three directors who left senior roles at Hutchinson Builders with a shared vision, Formplus brings strategic insight and hands-on leadership to every build — supporting clients from the ECI phase all the way through to post-construction.
Their point of difference is total project involvement. With design managers and structural design managers in-house, Formplus is embedded in a project before a single sod is turned. It's an approach that requires systems that can match the complexity and pace of how they work.
Already managing seven active instances across their project portfolio, Formplus is scaling fast.
Formplus runs a complex operational structure. Alongside their master Formplus instance, each project operates under its own instance, with construction management agreements sitting underneath — a multi-entity setup that needed to be configured precisely to how the business works
It was critical to get the structure set up correctly from the start, and ensuring it could scale cleanly as new projects came on board.
Formplus implemented OneCore from the very moment the business launched, working with implementation partner Knight Solutions to configure the integration between Procore and Xero to their exact requirements. The result is a fully customised multi-entity setup — one that Sarah Lanigan, Finance Manager at Formplus, says couldn't be replicated off the shelf.
"I'm fairly certain there's not alot of people set up the exact same way that we're set up," says Sarah.
OneCore sits at the centre of Formplus's financial operations: connecting Procoreand Xero, managing account code and vendor mapping across all instances, and handling invoice flow through AP Processing. Invoices come in via a dedicated email account, are pushed through OneCore, and automatically routed to the correct project instance — no manual handling, no double entry.
The transaction dashboard is Sarah's first point of call when something needs attention. Rather than investigating across two systems, OneCore surfaces exactly where an issue is, what's causing it, and where to go to fix it.
A unique client-facing capability has also been created through the platform’s flexibility. Before construction begins, Formplus configures a preview instance that shows clients exactly how information will flow through the project — building confidence early and converting seamlessly into a fully live instance once construction starts.
The support from the Interfy team has been a consistent factor throughout. “Their service is reallygreat. They're very responsive, very knowledgeable, and if they don't have theanswer, they quickly find it for you,” says Sarah.
● Single point of data entry across all projects, with information flowing automatically between Procore and Xero
● AP Processing handles high invoice volumes across multiple instances without manual routing
● Fast, precise error identification via the transaction dashboard
● New project instances set up quickly and cleanly as the business scales
● Set up to show clients a live preview of how their project information will flow, before construction begins
"I couldn't imagine our life without Interfy. The whole integration across Procore, OneCore and Xero is seamless and everything is very simple. We've got the bones really figured out now, and as new projects come on, it's very easy to add more."
