TVD Group Builders is a Geelong-based construction company with over 30 years of industry expertise, delivering commercial and residential projects across education, health, industrial, and SDA housing sectors. 

A close, collaborative team, they manage everything from single dwellings to large-scale commercial developments, with a strong emphasis on running projects smoothly and efficiently for their clients.

TVD were running their business through Xero, and it worked well for their bookkeeping and accounting workflows. What it couldn't provide was project-level financial control: budget allocation, forecasting, purchase orders, and subcontract management.

Procore solved that problem. But only if it could connect back to Xero. Without a reliable integration, the double handling of financial data would have cancelled out the benefit entirely.

TVD implemented OneCore to connect Procore and Xero, giving them full project controls – budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, subcontracts, and variations – while keeping their bookkeeper's Xero workflow completely intact. Financial data flows automatically between the two platforms, with no manual re-entry required.

Onboarding was straightforward. Once cost codes were mapped in Procore, the integration came together quickly, and when Ryan had questions in the early days, Interfy's team were readily available to work through them.

Three years on, Ryan rarely needs to log into Interfy directly. When he does, it's typically to refresh a newly added supplier – a process he describes as instant. The error dashboard provides a quick way to spot and resolve any exceptions before they affect project budgets.
