Founded 10 years ago by three directors who've known each other since primary school, Taranaway began specialising in high-end residential homes before evolving into hospitality, high-rise construction, and commercial office buildings.

As Taranaway expanded from boutique residential into larger commercial and high-rise projects, their previous project management tools couldn't keep pace. The systems lacked adequate forecasting capabilities, offered poor progress claim tools, and couldn't integrate quality management within the same platform.
"We need software that takes the information we already have to present anyway, stores it, and uses it to save admin time," explains Andrew Hardie, Director at Taranaway. "That's essentially what Procore and Interfy do."
When evaluating integration providers, Taranaway initially tried another solution but found it "more complicated with less features." With 90% of their revenue coming from cost-plus work, they needed an integration that could handle sophisticated client reporting and transparent budget tracking.
Taranaway implemented Interfy's OneCore to integrate Procore with Xero, specifically leveraging the Cost Plus and AP Processing modules to support their business model. The Cost Plus module became central to their operations, automatically collating all paid invoices within specified timeframes into professional client-ready PDFs.
"Cost Plus is done really well in OneCore," notes Andrew. "It allows us to grab all the invoices we've paid within a certain timeframe, collates them together in one PDF, and shows where each invoice has been paid against budget codes so clients can see where money is spent each month."
The system's ability to track what has and hasn't been claimed prevents late invoices from being overlooked, whilst the clear presentation format enables confident client approvals.
The Cost Plus module saves us a full day per project.
